The School Kit Caterpillar Refill includes 33 caterpillars and all of the nutritious food they need to develop into beautiful Painted Lady Butterflies. 33 small vials are also provided so each child can carefully house and observe his or her very own caterpillar.
The School Kit Refill Includes:
- 33 LIVE caterpillars or voucher (caterpillars available March to Mid-September)
- Specially formulated, ready to use, caterpillar food (1 large and 1 small cup)
- 33 vials and lids
- 66 sticking pads
- Feeding pipette
- Plastic spoon
- Food levelling tool
- Sugar packet
- Small transfer brush
- Instruction guide
This product is a REFILL set only, a habitat is not included. Be sure to provide a Butterfly Pavilion Habitat in which to house your butterflies or if you'd like to purchase a full kit, please click here.

Ages 4+
Please note - Immediately upon receipt of the caterpillars, you will need to distribute the food and caterpillars between the vials, instructions on how to do this are included. If you should receive more than 33 caterpillars, any remaining may stay and develop in the cup they arrived in.

If you choose to upgrade to a DHL delivery option (UK addresses only) at checkout for an order that contains a Live refill, please be aware that your order will still be dispatched on your chosen send-out date. This service does not include weekend deliveries.

All non-live orders leave our offices within 1-3 working days unless the item(s) are out of stock, or if your order includes a Live product with a chosen send-out date of 3 weeks or less away (in which case we will dispatch all goods, live and non-live, on the requested send out date).
Once your order is dispatched, standard delivery time for the UK is approximately 1- 4 working days, depending on your location. Please allow 10 days for orders outside of the UK. A Next Working Day option is available for UK delivery only (excludes weekends).
